The equalizer (EQ) is a signal processor that can boost, cut or remove selected frequency ranges in audio signals. With the ability to provide precise control over the sonic characteristics of any given sound source, the EQ is one of the most powerful and frequently used tools in audio production.

In this workshop, music producer and HOFA tutor Joshua Horspool explains the basics of working with different EQs and demonstrates possible fields of application using examples.
